ABOUT

The Redwood Bowmen Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization that operates and maintains a 35 acre archery range in the East Bay Regional Park District in the Oakland hills. The archery range is for the enjoyment of the public but is financed and maintained by Redwood Bowmen members.

All skill levels and age groups are represented in our membership. Our members include archers who shoot traditional recurve bows as well as compound bow archers.

  Persons wishing to join the Redwood Bowmen submit this application for membership. There is a $5.00 processing fee. Applicants then must attend and participate in one regular club meeting, one work party and a regular club shoot. Club shoots are the second Sunday of the month at 9:30am. Registration starts at 8:30am. Club meetings are the second Friday of the month at 8:00pm and they are held at the Redwood Bowmen Clubhouse. Workdays are on the Saturday of the club shoot weekend from 9:00am. 

After the three requirements are completed the applicant will be sworn in at the next regular club meeting. These requirements must be started within 90 days of the date of the application and completed within 150 days of the date of application.

ATTRACTIONS

We have 12 club shoots every year and host tournaments at our club. Those tournaments include the Western Round Up and Turkey Shoot.

We are a located next to the Chabot Space and Science Center. Bring your family for a fun filled day. Shoot all day, have a picnic and go visit the Space and Science Center at night.

Our club house (exclusively for members only) offers a full kitchen, refrigerators (drinks and snacks available), bowpress, foosball table, bilards, darts, satelite TV, music and a magnificant fire place. Home away from home...
